- HELP
- Using the CONTEST Information Database is very easy. Contests are listed
- by month. Type SH/CONTEST [month] where "month" is the first 3 letters
- of the month, ie. JAN, FEB, MAR, APR, MAY, JUN, JUL, AUG, SEP, OCT,
- NOV, DEC. This calendar provides the date, time, keyname, and contest
- name. To view the contest operating rules, bands, exchange, etc., use the
- keyname of the contest; ie. if the keyname is CQP (California QSO Party).
- type SH/CONTEST CQP. The rules provided here are intended to give you a
- brief overview. If you are going to seriously operate any contest, you
- should obtain the complete operating rules as published in publications
- like QST and CQ Magazine. Other key qualifiers which may be used are:
-
- RULES - to list the issues of QST and CQ where major contest
- rules are most likely to appear; SH/CONTEST RULES
-
- RESULTS - to list issues of QST and CQ where contest results
- are most likely to appear; SH/CONTEST RESULTS
-
- If SH/INFO is available, type SH/INFO ARL[month] (month=3 chars) to get
- ARRL Events calendar. More (ARRL-sponsored) contest dates are here.
